Thank you to the Bank of San Antonio for hosting this month's Cybersecurity Council. Charles Gruber, CIO for Texas Partners Bank, briefed council members on challenges faced in the financial sector, with great emphasis on community banks. He stressed the importance of understanding the threat landscape pertaining to your organization and the impact that cultivating a cyber aware culture can have on an organization's success against attacks.
Following Charles' brief, the U.S. Commercial Services presented on the cybersecurity landscape in Mexico and highlighted opportunities for American companies to export services. To conclude the meeting, John Petrie of the Alamo ISA Chapter gave an update on Chapter membership and upcoming events.
