More than 30 ladies from your Chamber’s Woman to Woman, Leader to Leader (WWLL) Committee met last week at WellMed Medical Management’s beautiful newly built cutting-edge corporate headquarters north of the Rim shopping center. The event was hosted by WellMed’s team of professionals and directly supported by Jimmie Keenan, WellMed’s Senior Vice President Enterprise of Clinic Operations.
April Ancira, Vice President of Ancira Auto Group and 2023 Chair of the WWLL Committee, greeted guests, and thanked them for attending. Keenan then provided a few remarks about WellMed’s new $235 million, 550-square-foot project that will eventually include four office buildings, three restaurant spaces and two parking garages across 16 acres and provided a brief tour of the facility. The catering was provided by their in-house chef, and the guests were also able to support an impactful service project. Together, the ladies stuffed and packed more than 500 empowerment kits to benefit women at the Battered Women’s and Children’s Shelter. The empowerment kits included a toiletry bag, manicure set, nail polish, lotion, aromatherapy shower steamer and socks. The attendees completed the kits in record time, powering through the kit assembly in less than 20 minutes.
WWLL Committee’s mission is to connect top Military and C-Suite women leaders to authentically deepen relationships through engagement, while creating opportunities to help emerging leaders of the future.
