Exciting Council Meetings Ahead to Propel San Antonio's Business Community Forward

As we transition into the latter half of the year, we're thrilled to resume our council meetings and continue our collaborative efforts to advance San Antonio's business community. Our councils have a lot of exciting things planned, and we can’t wait to share them with you! Joining a council provides valuable opportunities for professional development and allows you to directly contribute to shaping policies that impact our community. Network with industry leaders, stay informed on key issues, and make your voice heard in the decision-making process.

First up, the Healthcare Council will meet on August 8th from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at St. Philip's College. This meeting will include a tour of their Center for Allied Health Professions, offering a look at their latest programs and facilities. On August 15th, the Cybersecurity Council will convene at the Greater San Antonio Chamber FirstDay Foundation Briefing Center to discuss agenda items for the upcoming legislative season, focusing on key issues to strengthen our community’s cybersecurity posture.

The Aerospace Council will gather on August 16th from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. Chair Bianca Rhodes will lead discussions on the next steps for our Aerospace industry video and introduce an exciting new project focused on workforce interchange. Finally, our Small Business Council will meet on August 29th, where Councilwoman Gavito will present her upcoming policy ideas, opening the floor to feedback from our members.

If you are interested in participating in any of these councils, please reach out to Kenzie McAlister or Diego Aldrete for more information. We look forward to your involvement and are eager to tackle the exciting challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
