Leadership San Antonio Class 50 recently held its first class day, titled "The Blueprint: Mapping Equity for All." The day offered an experiential journey into the rich history, culture, and challenges of the historic West Side’s 78207 zip code.
Featured presenters included Dr. Rogelio Saenz of UTSA, The Honorable Judge William Cruz Shaw, Dr. Carlos Moreno, Joseph Rodriguez of Edgewood ISD, Joe Pena of Frost Bank, Erika Prosper Nirenberg of H-E-B, Cristina Balli of the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, and San Antonio artist Cruz Ortiz.
Class members were challenged to help shape the future of the West Side and make a meaningful difference based on their passions, abilities, and lived experiences. Participants came away with profound new insights and a renewed commitment to drive strategic, community-centered change – vowing to spark innovation, uplift others, and help the West Side thrive.
