The inaugural cohort of the Executive Connections: San Antonio (ECSA) program was celebrated in a memorable graduation ceremony that highlighted leadership, service, and a shared commitment to strengthening the region’s future. Held in an atmosphere of reflection and pride, the event brought together business leaders, community partners, and supporters to honor the accomplishments of the graduating class, including ECSA chairman John T. Montford and guest Former Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff.
“On behalf of the Executive Connections: San Antonio leadership, I extend my sincere congratulations to this outstanding graduating class. Their commitment to growth, collaboration, and civic engagement reflects the very best of our city’s future,” said 2026 ECSA Chairman John T. Montford. “Throughout this journey, they have not only gained valuable insight into the industries and institutions that shape San Antonio, but they have also strengthened the relationships that will empower them to lead with purpose. The Greater Chamber is proud to welcome them into a network of leaders dedicated to making a lasting impact.”
Over the course of the program, participants engaged in immersive experiences designed to deepen their understanding of San Antonio’s key industries, civic landscape, and military presence. From exclusive site visits to candid conversations with top leaders, the cohort gained insight into the challenges and opportunities shaping the city.
Speakers throughout the evening emphasized the responsibility that comes with leadership, encouraging graduates to remain engaged and to use their influence to drive progress across the community. Reflections from participants underscored the program’s impact, with many noting a renewed sense of purpose and a stronger commitment to collaboration and civic involvement.
“Having spent decades in public service, I’ve seen firsthand how critical strong, informed leadership is to the future of our community,” said guest speaker Former County Judge Nelson Wolff. “The graduates of the Executive Connections: San Antonio program have taken an important step in deepening their understanding of the issues that shape our region—from infrastructure to economic development to public health. I commend this inaugural class for their commitment to learning, engagement, and service, and I am confident they will play a meaningful role in guiding San Antonio forward.”
The graduation ceremony served as a culmination of these experiences, recognizing not only professional growth but also the meaningful connections formed along the way. As these graduates begin a network of ECSA alumni, they carry forward a collective mission to lead with intention and to contribute to the continued success of San Antonio.
“The Greater San Antonio Chamber is incredibly proud to celebrate the graduation of the inaugural Executive Connections: San Antonio cohort. This class represents a powerful cross-section of leaders who have invested in understanding the complexities, opportunities, and responsibilities that come with shaping our region’s future,” said Jeff Webster, President and CEO of The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.
“Their engagement, curiosity, and commitment to collaboration embody the leadership San Antonio needs to remain competitive and resilient. We are confident that each graduate will carry forward the spirit of this program—leading with purpose, strengthening our community, and driving meaningful impact across our city.”
The Greater Chamber’s 2025-2026 Chairman Kevin Dinnin said, “This inaugural cohort represents the kind of forward-thinking leadership our region depends on — individuals who are not only committed to their own growth, but to the collective success of our business community and our city. Their engagement in this program reflects a deep investment in San Antonio’s future, and I am confident they will lead with vision, integrity, and a strong sense of purpose in the years ahead.”
