John Clamp  joined the Greater Chamber as Senior Vice President of Administration on January 5^th.  He brings over 35 years of broad-based financial and accounting experience from both the profit and nonprofit sectors.  This experience will serve the Chamber well in accomplishing its goals.

John most recently served as Chief Administrative Officer of VIA Metropolitan Transit.  His other leadership experiences include USAA and the development of La Cantera, The Alamo Area Council of Governments, The DoSeum and as Executive Director of the San Antonio Hotel & Lodging Association.

John represented District 10 on City Council and has held numerous community leadership roles, including as Chair of the Alamo Regional Mobility Authority. He holds degrees in accounting, finance, and public service administration, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
