The Rowdy Spur Brings Seven Nights of Live Music, Texas Comfort Food, Karaoke, and a Whiskey Cigar Lounge to Downtown

San Antonio San Antonio, TX — A new high-energy honky-tonk is set to light up downtown. The Rowdy Spur, located at 121 Alamo Street, officially opens its doors on Friday February 27th at 5:00 PM, promising an unforgettable blend of live music, Texas comfort food, karaoke, and laid-back whiskey-and-cigar vibes—all under one roof.

Created by the same local San Antonians affiliated with Pat O’Brien’s San Antonio, The Rowdy Spur carries forward a legacy of hospitality and entertainment while introducing a bold, modern-western experience rooted in Texas culture. Guests can expect live country, Americana, and rock ’n’ roll music seven nights a week; transforming the venue into a nightly destination for music lovers and night owls alike.

 

Beyond the main stage, The Rowdy Spur offers several distinct spaces designed for different kinds of fun:

The Karaoke Corral – a professional karaoke room designed to feel like a recording studio, where anyone can step into the spotlight.

The Honky Tonk Cafe – serving lunch and dinner with a Texas comfort food menu featuring crowd favorites and hearty classics. The Hideout – a relaxed whiskey and cigar bar complete with poker, slots, and pool tables for guests looking to sip, puff, and play.
