Our Doing Business in San Antonio (DBSA) Conference & Luncheon is designed to help companies of all sizes better understand how to navigate corporate and government procurement processes, while building relationships with organizations seeking qualified local vendors and partners.

With nearly $25 billion in capital investment projects expected across the San Antonio region over the next decade, new opportunities are on the horizon. DBSA puts local businesses in the room with the organizations and decision-makers behind those opportunities.

You'll get more visibility into supply chain processes, learn how to secure the various certifications required for government contracts, and network with decision-makers at the local and state level.  Not only will this event help small-and medium-sized businesses learn how to do business with public and private entities, but it will also help large companies and governmental agencies get connected with small businesses with which they can partner.

Take a Look Into Your Day at DBSA:

State of the Economy Luncheon | 11:00 a.m.

Start your day at the Marriott Rivercenter over lunch alongside San Antonio business and community leaders.

Luis Torres, Senior Business Economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas’ San Antonio Branch, will provide an outlook on the U.S., Texas and San Antonio economies, examining key trends in employment, inflation, growth and other factors shaping the business environment.

A panel discussion will follow with remarks from David McGee, CEO, Central Texas Region, Amegy Bank; Shanon Miller, Chief Downtown Officer, City of San Antonio; and Sarah Carabias Rush, President & CEO, greater:SATX.

Breakout Sessions | 1:00 p.m.

Following lunch, take your seat in breakout sessions hosted by public and private organizations, including CPS Energy, VIA Metropolitan Transit, UT San Antonio, Bexar County, City of San Antonio, JCB, and many more.

Hear directly from these organizations about their procurement processes, upcoming opportunities, and expectations for doing business with them. Ask questions, gain practical insight, and leave with a better understanding of how your company can pursue future business opportunities.

Networking Reception | 4:00 p.m.

Then, take what you've learned and turn it into connections. Close out the day by meeting decision-makers, procurement professionals, and fellow local business owners in a setting designed for conversation and relationship-building. Introduce your company, continue conversations from the breakout sessions, and begin building relationships that can pay off for your business.

Billions of dollars in investment are coming to our region. We want San Antonio businesses to have the knowledge, connections, and tools to compete for those opportunities.

Come learn how the process works, meet the people behind it, and help us keep more of that investment right here in our great city.
