The Greater San Antonio Chamber has officially proclaimed Friday, June 5, “Spurs Gear Friday,” a citywide call to action encouraging businesses across the region to show their Spurs pride. Employers are invited to let employees trade business attire for silver and black, turning offices, storefronts, job sites, and boardrooms into a unified show of support for the hometown team as the Spurs compete in the NBA Finals.

Greater San Antonio Chamber members embraced the spirit of exploration at a recent mixer hosted by Home2 Suites by Hilton on the San Antonio River Walk. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, entertainment and several memorable moments throughout the evening.

The inaugural research report revealed strong interest in integrated financial planning among business owners. Nearly nine in 10 respondents (89%) value financial advice that considers both business and personal needs, and 88% see value in working with a dedicated financial advisor who understands both. However, only 55% currently work with a financial advisor on both their business and personal finances.
