The Chamber invites you to our most patriotic event of the year, our annual Spirit of America dinner, at the Marriott Rivercenter Hotel on November 10. This yearly event represents our chance to pay tribute to the men and women of our Nation’s military. Our guest speaker for this year’s event is Gen. Lori Robinson, USAF, Commander North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM). NORAD conducts aerospace warning, aerospace control, and maritime warning in the defense of North America. USNORTHCOM partners to contact homeland defense, civil support, and security cooperation to defense and secure the United States and its interests. General Robinson is the first female commander of a combatant command, and she will no doubt provide the audience with an impressive and inspiring address just in time for Veteran’s Day. The Spirit of the America dinner is a part of the Chamber’s Celebrate America’s Military (CAM) , an tribute to our military. Started in 1970, CAM is a two-week celebration of our military where we work with our community partners to pay back those who have made San Antonio “Military City U.S.A.” This year’s Spirit of America dinner will feature a moving recognition of our military personnel and veterans and include a few surprises that will leave you exhilarated and inspired. Don’t miss this incredible evening and the chance to support and thank our active duty military, the guard and reserve, wounded warriors and veterans for the sacrifices they’ve made for our country. Tickets and tables for the dinner are still available. For each individual ticket purchased, a member of the military will receive a seat at the dinner, and tables of 8 include 4 seats for yourself/your guests and 4 seats for members of the military. To register for this event, click here.
