SA to DC Co-Chairs Kathy Garcia of CPS Energy and Juan Antonio Flores of Port San Antonio kicked off SA to DC 2019 by laying out their vision of celebrating San Antonio as a city of innovation. Dozens of business leaders joined our co-chairs ready to begin working on taking the top federal issues to Washington, DC for the 41st year.
Juan Antonio and Kathy shared impactful stories of innovation established in our community from early acequias supplying water to the birth of military flight. They also discussed examples of present-day advances such as ground-breaking bioscience research. Innovation, they shared, is what we celebrate across all industries. Finally, they asked SA to DC participants to, “Help us tell this narrative. Let’s work together to build this legacy into the future.”
Join business and community leaders in advocating for San Antonio’s top issues in Washington, DC February 4-7, 2019.
Your participation matters! In 2018, 175 leaders took our top issues to our nation’s capital and returned with federal dollars that will improve the health of our community and our residents.
