Don’t be left behind as industry and government leaders from San Antonio travel to Washington together to advocate for issues that make this city strong and competitive! During last year’s SA to DC trip, we took a record 175 participants to Washington, and in addition to securing funding for our great city, we spent three days meeting and networking with other business professionals.
Participation in this highly important event can make a huge difference for San Antonio. In 2018, we secured funding from the federal government for healthcare and workforce development programs, our military bases, transportation, and strong aerospace community for a share of over $70 billion.
Each month, our legislative groups gather for planning meetings to determine which legislators and key staff they plan to meet with in Washington. The monthly meetings last approximately 45 minutes and will be conveniently located at the San Antonio Water System (SAWS) offices.
