We are nearly 60 days from one of the largest community fly-ins to Washington, DC! Reserve your space now to be a part of what has been described as a model event. For 40 years, your Chamber has led a group of community and business leaders to Washington to advocate for the needs of city. During this year’s trip, more than 170 leaders joined us for productive government meetings and brought home a share of more than $70 billion in funding for San Antonio priorities.
SA to DC 2019 Co-chairs Kathy Garcia (CPS Energy) and Juan Antonio Flores (Port San Antonio) will lead our program focusing on innovation February 4-7, 2019.
The last day to make changes without penalty is January 10, 2019. Information is available on the SA to DC website.
If you are interested in attending or have questions, contact Belinda Garza Hartwig, Vice President of Economic Development, at 210-229-2199 or bhartwig@sachamber.org.
Our next planning meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 10 at 4:15 p.m. at the SAWS Customer Service Tower (2800 US 281 N). White papers outlining the legislative priorities will be worked on at this time. In addition, we will determine which legislators and government staff we should be meeting with.
Mark your calendars for final meetings:
