The San Antonio Chamber of Commerce continues to champion and raise awareness about the many benefits of recruiting and hiring individuals from our disability community. Through the Chamber’s Project Ability initiative and Business to Business Disability Consortium, we have worked with an array of partners to support employers as they tap into this vibrant talent pool.
We invite you to join us for a proclamation recognizing October as National Disability Employment Awareness month by Mayor Ron Nirenberg. The announcement is scheduled for Wednesday, October 16 at 1:30 p.m. at the Plaza de Armas Gallery located at 115 Plaza de Armas.
Organized by Goodwill San Antonio, a number of local businesses will be recognized for exemplary work in creating inclusive hiring practices.
