COVID-19 has reshaped the business landscape. To help prepare for a full recovery and the possible application of financial assistance, your Chamber is partnering with the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation (SAEDF) to conduct a survey to monitor the impact of COVID-19 on business operations in the San Antonio region.
SAEDF deployed the survey in partnership with national economic development organizations and chambers of commerce to provide insight and actionable information to be aggregated into a national database on business impact. SAEDF’s established Business Retention and Expansion team, along with team members at local chambers, are mobilized and ready to support local businesses as they navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. The organizations are in the unique position to use the data at a local level to lend direct business support, connect businesses to much-needed resources, and elevate trends that will inform local and state elected officials, government agencies, and others in their recovery responses.
“The San Antonio Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with SAEDF to analyze the impact of the coronavirus. It is more important than ever for our organizations to work together to inform officials and organizations at the local, state, and federal levels about the needs of our business community during this time of crisis. We look forward to seeing the results of the survey and working with our partners to provide the help and resources our members need going forward,” said San Antonio Chamber of Commerce President, Richard Perez.
SAEDF is asking local business executives to take the 5 to 10-minute survey to convey the impacts they are experiencing. Responses are confidential and will only be reported in aggregate.
