The Chamber’s Cybersecurity Council, which hosts Cybersecurity San Antonio, featured two spotlight briefings on Wednesday. Mark Bell, the Managing Director for Digital Defense discussed Digital’s full suite of best-in-class services in the first spotlight briefing. He highlighted the purchase of Digital Defense by Help Systems would not move Digital away from San Antonio and that Digital continues to thrive in our community.
The second spotlight briefing was from the 80/20 Foundation and organization providing grants to public charities that attract, grow, and retain entrepreneurs in San Antonio. Thu Nguyen highlighted 80/20’s core programs: SA Startup Week, Catayst Labs, and Students+Startups, the latter two containing some great ways to support job training and education through internships and other opportunities.
The Cybersecurity Council continues to accelerate the planning for a post-COVID environment by re-starting meetings of the core focus teams and beginning to set an agenda for the rest of the year and into 2022.
