With the increased distribution of COVID-19 vaccines in San Antonio, more businesses are opening fully to customers and returning to some sense of normalcy. However, the fight for immunization is not finished. According to data in Bexar County, half of eligible adults in the county have received one or both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. While and improvement from the previous months, that still leaves the other half of county residents who have not received their first shot. In the interests of public health and safety, as well as economic prosperity for both workers and businesses, your Chamber is helping to push for a fully vaccinated San Antonio and Bexar County. Vaccines are readily available at multiple locations across the city and are administered to patients at no cost and no questions asked. We encourage you to get vaccinated if you haven't already and ask that you encourage your employees to schedule an appointment to get their vaccine as well.
