As you know, 2021 is a very critical time for San Antonio, as our business community continues its road to recovery and back to the strong and diverse economic powerhouse it was pre-pandemic. We believe it is vital that San Antonio elects Council Members who will ensure San Antonio has a successful recovery and maintains its business-friendly climate. The relationship between the business community and our City Council is essential for economic prosperity in San Antonio and throughout Texas. That is why we are pleased to be hosting Facebook Live City Council Candidate Forums, featuring run-off candidates for Districts 1, 3, 5, and 9. The Candidate Forums will be moderated by the Chamber’s Public Policy Council Chair, J.D. Salinas, Assistant Vice President of External and Legislative Affairs for AT&T. Tune in to hear directly from candidates about key business issues, such as:
  • Critical Infrastructure
  • Important employer business issues
  • Pandemic recovery
  • The need for education and workforce development
  • Transit
  • And more!
Candidates will also be taking questions from viewers. To access the City Council Forums, just FOLLOW or LIKE our Chamber Facebook page.
