During the pandemic, about 4 in 10 adults in the U.S. reported symptoms of anxiety or depressive disorder, up from 1 in 10 adults who reported these symptoms from January to June 2019. Clearly, the pandemic is impacting our mental health and well-being. If you or your employees need help from a mental healthcare professional, where do you begin? The SACRD.org Portal to Mental Healthcare Services is a free, 24/7 online directory that allows immediate access to more than 1,150 mental health resources in the San Antonio area. Those seeking help can find:
  • In-person Counselors and Therapists
  • Telehealth Providers
  • Educational Resources
  • Hotlines and Virtual Resources
  • Navigators and Peer Support
The portal was developed by the non-profit San Antonio Community Resource Directory (SACRD.org) with financial support from the H.E. Butt Foundation and the City of San Antonio  Department of Human Services. If you or your employees have other needs, SACRD.org has you covered, too. The portal’s parent directory, which is available in Spanish and English, contains detailed information about more than 6,000 programs covering 100 categories of need that range from food, shelter, and utility assistance to childcare, transportation, addiction and recovery, and legal aid; from prenatal assistance to end of life. SACRD.org currently handles over 5,700 visits from the public each week.
