The Chamber represented six members at the Lasso the Moon event in Houston on Monday. The Space Force Association and TexSpace hosted a multi-disciplinary series of presentations and roundtable discussions focused on the commercial space industry in Texas. The event included networking and tabletop exhibits, and the Chamber was proud to participate. Jeff Fair, Vice President of Cybersecurity and Economic Development, represented the six San Antonio Companies - Land Aero, Standard Aero, Knight Aerospace, UTSA, Port San Antonio, and Astro Port, that are exploring or actively engaged in the private sector space industry. The sector is visibly expanding in Texas and San Antonio is in a perfect location to support growth in research and development, manufacturing, gaming, and education.
The San Antonio Chamber of Commerce’s Aerospace Committee is actively engaged with organizations like NASA, the US Space Force, the Space Force Association, and TexSpace to grow the sector and opportunities in the industry for San Antonio.
