Your San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Woman to Woman, Leader to Leader (WWLL) Committee gathered last week at the University of Texas San Antonio’s (UTSA) new state-of-the-art Roadrunner Athletic Center of Excellence (RACE). Hosted by Dr. Lisa Campos, UTSA’s Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics and Athletic Director, and sponsored by Whataburger and H-E-B, the event brought together ladies from a variety of backgrounds to learn about the $40.4 million athletic training facility located on 10.8 acres of land near the southwest corner of the University’s main campus. The facility is a milestone in the University’s strategic vision to create a central hub for UTSA Athletics and to further promote the academic success, health, wellness, and performance of the university’s student-athletes.

Guests received a personal behind-the-scenes tour of the space led by Dr. Campos and were also able to learn about ways to continue their support of UTSA and purchase tickets for the upcoming football season. Dr. Campos took time to highlight UTSA’s women athletes, who continue to excel and inspire.

WWLL’s mission is to connect top Military and C-Suite women leaders to authentically deepen relationships through engagement, while creating opportunities to help emerging leaders.

For more information on how to participate or support WWLL, please contact Lori Stinson, Vice President of Military Affairs and Leadership Development.
