The Cybersecurity Council hosted European cybersecurity professionals on Thursday, June 16 at the Chamber’s Northside Business Center. The visit, coordinated by the United States Department of State and the San Antonio Council for International Visitors, was aimed at sharing how San Antonio has developed a robust cybersecurity ecosystem and to share lessons from that journey. The delegation included private sector and governmental representatives from Spain, Slovakia, and other countries.  Council members Kevin Cox, Director of Commercial Operations - Cybersecurity, Def-Logix; Patsy Boozer, Chief Security Officer, City of San Antonio; Roxanne Ramirez Principal, CNF Technologies; and Dan Cruz, Mentor Coordinator, Cyber Texas Foundation, all assisted Chamber VP for Cybersecurity and Economic Development Jeff Fair in telling the San Antonio cyber story and helping our visitors glean lessons from the Alamo City’s development of a now-robust sector.  The delegation will finish their three-city tour of the U.S. in Akron, Ohio before returning to their home countries.
