Your Chamber was honored to host last week’s Stay in SA Intern Mixer, as part of our efforts to retain local talent and convince graduates to Stay in SA.
With nearly 250 people in attendance at this networking opportunity for our upcoming young professionals, this event helped demonstrate why San Antonio is such a great place to build a career and a future. The energy and excitement in the room were palpable, as interns met and interacted with each other and with members of our business community.
All attendees responding to our post-event survey said they made meaningful connections. Intern attendees took advantage of the opportunity to make new relationships and practice their networking skills. Employer attendees were impressed by the caliber of individuals participating and were able to describe jobs available at their companies in an informal setting as opposed to a job fair.
