The Next San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Cybersecurity Council meeting will take place at 3:00 on Wednesday, November 2. Council Chair Larry Hurtado (Founder, Evanesco) will welcome the UTSA Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Center for Government Contracting (CGC). We will be hosted by the SBDC at the UTSA downtown campus in the Durango Building (501 W César E Chávez Blvd.). Join us to learn about the government contracting and cybersecurity initiatives that are underway to support small businesses in the 79 county Texas South-West SBDC Network. This briefing will include an introduction to the SBDC's partnership with CyManII, Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) support to DoD small business contractors, and our new HUB Government Contracting program. As an added bonus, the Council will receive a preview from the Alamo AFCEA Chapter on the upcoming Alamo ACE conference later in November.
