On Wednesday April 26, your Chamber, in partnership with the City of San Antonio, welcomed a trade delegation from Panama. Following a welcome from Councilman Manny Pelaez, the San Antonio team discussed our local economy and provided a strong case for increasing trade between Panama and San Antonio. Chamber Vice President for Cybersecurity and Economic Development, Jeff Fair, also provided a detailed overview of the cybersecurity and innovation ecosystem in the Alamo City.
Delegates from Panama shared developments at the City of Knowledge, one of the country’s innovation hubs. The participants found several avenues for future increased collaboration between efforts in the City of Knowledge and the leading sectors of San Antonio’s economy.
