As part of the Greater Chamber gala festivities on December 13, City Councilwoman Marina Alderete Gavito was on hand to deliver an official Proclamation, which was preceded by a video address from Mayor Ron Nirenberg in which he praised the chamber and recounted its history.
Councilwoman Gavito proclaimed December 13, 2024, as “The Greater San Antonio Chamber 130th Anniversary Day” to coincide with the gala. Chairman Mario Barrera thanked the city for their tremendous support and discussed the Greater Chamber’s many initiatives and programs that have helped ensure local businesses prosper and the community remains the best place to live, work and play!
