Pape-Dawson Engineers has acquired BHC, a Kansas-based engineering firm, bringing together two firms that have collaborated on projects for more than three decades.

Since BHC’s founding 33 years ago, the companies have partnered on numerous infrastructure initiatives and developed longstanding client relationships. BHC specializes in telecommunications, data and public works infrastructure, services that complement Pape-Dawson’s civil and structural engineering capabilities nationwide.

Company leaders say the combination will strengthen the firms’ ability to support growing demand for infrastructure and technology-related development across the country. “Joining Pape-Dawson allows us to maintain the relationships, culture and local leadership our clients value, while gaining access to expanded resources, technology and multidisciplinary expertise,” said Kevin Honomichl, president of BHC. “This next chapter creates new opportunities for our employees and enhances the services we provide.”

Leaders say BHC’s talent, reputation and technical expertise will support Pape-Dawson’s long-term growth strategy as the company continues expanding its national footprint.
