SeaWorld San Antonio celebrates America's 250th with patriotic event, drone show and fireworks

SeaWorld San Antonio is marking America's 250th birthday with a limited-time patriotic celebration running June 26 through July 5, featuring live military band performances, an all-new drone light show, fireworks and special recognition for military members and veterans.

The event, dubbed SeaWorld 250, combines family entertainment with patriotic programming timed to the nation's semiquincentennial. Throughout the 10-day run, guests can expect specialty food and beverage offerings, limited-edition merchandise and themed attractions.

U.S. Air Force Band of the West

The U.S. Air Force Band of the West will perform at the Nautilus Amphitheater on two dates during the celebration. A Concert Band performance is scheduled for June 26, and the band's rock ensemble takes the stage July 5. Both performances are free and open to all park guests.

Drone show and fireworks

SeaWorld's newest nighttime spectacular, the IllumiNight Drone Finale, features hundreds of drones forming patriotic imagery above the park. On July 4 and July 5, a fireworks presentation will accompany the drone show as part of the park's Independence Day programming.

Military Appreciation Week

SeaWorld will honor active-duty military members, veterans and their families with additional discounts, special recognition moments and tributes throughout the park during Military Appreciation Week.

Through June 30, eligible active-duty military members and veterans can claim up to eight complimentary single-day tickets through the Waves of Honor program, redeemable by July 5 at WavesofHonor.com. Active-duty members, including activated reservists and National Guard members, receive complimentary admission for themselves and up to three dependents year-round.

The Military Silver Annual Pass offers unlimited admission with no blackout dates for 12 months, three free guest tickets and up to 20% off in-park purchases.

SeaWorld San Antonio's patriotic celebration runs through July 5.
