The Greater San Antonio Chamber announced today that Jeff Webster will retire from his role as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective Dec. 1, 2026.
Webster has served as the Chamber’s President and CEO, providing leadership and advocacy on behalf of the San Antonio business community and the organization’s members since 2023.
“Jeff has given the Chamber and our business community tremendous time, energy and leadership,” said Kevin C. Dinnin, Chairman of the Greater San Antonio Chamber. “We are grateful for his service and for the many contributions he has made during his tenure. We wish Jeff every success as he begins his next chapter.”
Webster informed Dinnin of his intent to retire on August 3, to allow for a smooth transition. “I want to thank San Antonio’s business community, our chamber members and the many partners who have made this journey so meaningful. I am especially grateful to our Board Chairs, past and present, and to the Executive Committee for their trust, guidance and leadership. And most importantly, I want to thank my team for their dedication, hard work and passion.” Webster said. “While I am retiring from my full-time role, I am not retiring from caring about San Antonio. This city has been a major part of my life and career, and I will continue to support its success in new ways at a new pace and through new projects.”
The Chamber’s Board of Directors will lead a comprehensive process to identify the organization’s next President and CEO. The Chamber will continue to advance the organization’s priorities and serve its members throughout the transition.
“San Antonio is at an important moment in its continued growth and development, and the Chamber remains firmly focused on the future,” Dinnin said. “We have a strong organization and an engaged membership. Our commitment to advocating for business, promoting economic opportunities and strengthening our community remains unchanged.”
Additional information regarding the search for the Chamber’s next President and CEO will be shared throughout the process.
