Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas, Inc. announced plans to add a second vehicle assembly line at its South San Antonio plant, a $3.6 billion investment expected to create 2,000 new jobs, Gov. Greg Abbott's office confirmed.

San Antonio will host the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Final Four and National Championship at the Alamodome on Dec. 17 and Dec. 20, 2026, bringing the nation's top collegiate volleyball programs and thousands of fans to the city for one of college sports' most anticipated championships.
